Tony’s Top Classic Books (P5 of Reading List)

Top Classic Books and All Round Good Books

When you say top classic books as distinct from simply, good books, of course there is a difference. Top classic books are those that are generally agreed by both academics and ‘those experts’ on the internet, that are deemed to be in the ‘best books of all time’ category. They were the kind of books that have been taught to schoolchildren down the ages; translated into various languages and whose life lessons seem to transcend the ages and remain just as valid today, in our fast-paced modern world, as they were in bygone eras.

What constitutes a good book, is more of a subjective matter, just as with good wine or good movies, one person’s triumph is another’s disappointment. The sheer number of books in the world means that this website only has the bandwidth to capture a small selection, but nevertheless, I hope you enjoy them.
